An Italian table on Shrewsbury Street
VIA is about food, wine and time around a table with family and friends. The founders gathered recipes and techniques from across Italy, from Tuscany to Naples to Sicily, and built a chef-driven kitchen around them.
Meats and poultry turn on the spit. There's fresh seafood, a long list of pastas, and gelato made in the kitchen, which you can watch from the dining room. The room is exposed brick and city-modern; the cellar holds Super Tuscans alongside top California bottles.
