The Oberdorfer Team

Powered by Real Estate Wealth Acquisition and Preservation Brokerage

Luxury atevery price point.

The identity of a husband-and-wife real estate team, evolved from Wakefield at Home and built to grow across Massachusetts.

Prepared for Brandon & Kaitlyn Oberdorfer · October 2026 · Concept 3

Proposed · awaiting approval
IntroductionThe Oberdorfer Team · Brand Book

An evolution,not a replacement.

Brandon and Kaitlyn already love how Wakefield at Home looks. This book keeps that look and turns it into a system that works on every screen, sign and page, and in every Massachusetts community the team serves.

Reading this book

Four labels show the status of every rule and claim.

Source-confirmed

Taken directly from the publication: copy, colors, typefaces, layout.

Proposed

A recommendation in this book, awaiting Brandon and Kaitlyn's approval.

Needs verification

A fact, credential or compliance item that must be confirmed before it is published.

Demo content

Placeholder material such as listings, agents and images. It is never presented as real.

Direction

Chosen October 15, 2026 from three magazine-based concepts (see Discovery).

Editorial Heritage, built on an architectural grid.

Concept A provides the identity: light serif headlines, navy covers, ivory pages, the inset gold frame and the magazine's page furniture. Concept B provides the structure: a twelve-column grid, asymmetric editorial layouts, and dimension-line details from the page 7 house drawing. The result is clearly the magazine, but it works as a website.

A husband-and-wife team.A shared commitment.

Brandon and Kaitlyn Oberdorfer
Portrait from Wakefield at Home, page 2. Confirm approved photography

Home holds the everyday moments that become a life.

Dinners around the table, celebrations with friends, and a familiar place to land at the end of the day. The Oberdorfer Team begins there, with homes as the places where lives are built.

Brandon and Kaitlyn Oberdorfer bring the values of their own family to their work: care, honesty, hard work, and showing up for the people who count on them. Whether a client is buying a first home, making room for a next chapter, or preparing to sell, the aim is the same: to feel heard, informed and supported from the first conversation through closing.

Now the team is growing. A team office is planned, and new agents will join. The story stays the same as it grows: Husband. Wife. Your Team.

Paragraphs 1–2 are adapted from the source biography (page 2). Paragraph 3 is Proposed, with office details to confirm.

Why we do it.Where it leads.

Proposed

Mission

To help people across Massachusetts make confident real estate decisions, with personal attention, clear local knowledge and presentation worthy of every home.

Vision

To become one of Massachusetts' most trusted real estate teams, known for a family's care and a premium firm's preparation, carried into every community by agents who share that standard.

Why "confident decisions"

The publication's market page teaches rather than sells. "A useful snapshot helps you ask better questions." The mission keeps that educational promise.

Why "every home"

It restates the brand promise, Luxury at every price point, in plain words: the standard does not depend on the price.

Why "every community"

Growth is part of the vision but no market is named. The brand must not stay limited to Wakefield, and it must not claim offices it does not have.

The Oberdorfer TeamBrand Book · 202603
StrategyThe Oberdorfer Team · Brand Book

Two partners.One standard.

Personal relationships, with the sophistication of a premium real estate organization.

Positioning statement

Proposed

For Massachusetts buyers and sellers at every price point, The Oberdorfer Team is the husband-and-wife real estate team that brings premium presentation and preparation to every move, because Brandon and Kaitlyn treat each client's home the way they treat their own.

Value proposition

Why choose this team over a larger, less personal organization?

You work with the people on the sign.

Brandon and Kaitlyn lead the team personally, and the brand is built on that relationship. Confirm how client work is shared as the team grows

Every home is presented like a feature.

The team brings editorial-quality marketing to every listing, as Wakefield at Home shows: thoughtful presentation, clear pricing, and a property story.

Advice grounded in comparable sales.

The team compares a home with similar closed sales instead of quoting headline medians, and it sources and dates every number.

A connection that lasts beyond closing.

The seasonal At Home publications keep clients and neighbours connected between moves.

Archetype

The Caregiver, guided by the Sage.

The Caregiver protects and supports. It fits "showing up for the people who count on us." The Sage informs, which fits the market education and "clear guidance and attention to the details." A trace of the Creator carries the creative marketing.

Why not the Ruler, the usual luxury archetype? Status and exclusivity would contradict "every price point" and push away first-time buyers. This brand's luxury is care and craft, not rank.

Watch for: a Caregiver can drift into softness. The Sage keeps the work expert and specific.

Verbal identityThe Oberdorfer Team · Brand Book

Speak like a neighbourwho knows the market.

The publication already has the voice: warm, plain, specific and useful. Its best lines are short sentences that turn on a single idea.

Four rules

Be useful first.

Every paragraph should help someone decide or act. "Ask for a property-specific market review before deciding what to offer."

Show the craft, don't name it.

Leave out "luxurious," "stunning" and "dream home." Name the real things instead: the light, the layout, the walk to the lake.

Use short sentences that answer.

"Close to Boston. Closer to what matters." Pair two lines when the second one moves the thought forward.

Source and date every fact.

Name the source, the period and the geography. "Figures may be revised" is part of the voice, not fine print.

By channel

ChannelRegisterExample
WebsiteClear, warm, scannable. Lead with the reader's goal."Selling this spring? Start with the right comparisons."
Agent biographiesFirst person, specific, verified. Values before credentials."I grew up … I help buyers who …" (only verified facts)
Property marketingConcrete and sensory, never generic. Facts in the specifications."Morning light across the kitchen; a ten-minute walk to the commuter rail."
Luxury listingsEven more restraint. Let the architecture and the details speak."An 1890 Queen Anne, restored with care." Not "Exquisite masterpiece!"
Social mediaPersonal and local, one idea per post. Brandon and Kaitlyn's own voice."Saturday at the farmers market. Here's what we brought home."
EmailA letter from people, not a blast. One clear next step."The fall issue is here. Inside: six ways to spend a Saturday close to home."
Community articlesEditorial, researched, credited, with dates for anything that changes."Seasonal schedules can change. Check each destination before you go."
Buyer and seller guidesStep by step and calm. Explain terms the first time they appear."A listing price is a seller's starting point. A closed sale shows what a buyer actually paid."

Favor and avoid

Favor

  • Natural light, including dusk and golden hour for exteriors
  • Warm neutral interiors with the real architectural detail
  • Real Massachusetts streets, commons, lakes and trails, credited
  • People in genuine moments: Brandon and Kaitlyn at work, with permission
  • Consistent, subtle grading: warm whites, deep but not crushed shadows

Avoid

  • Obvious stock photography and handshake clichés
  • HDR halos, over-saturated skies, fish-eye wide angles
  • AI-generated images presented as real clients, homes, agents or places
  • Fake testimonial portraits
  • Unlicensed images. Every image needs a source and a license on file.

Categories

Team and agent portraits

Use 4:5 framing and natural window light, on an ivory or deep navy backdrop or a real home setting. Wear navy, ivory or black, with no busy patterns. All agents get matching framing and grading.

Homes, at every price point

Communities and seasons

Show the places locals love, such as town commons, lakes, Main Streets and farms. Shoot each community through the seasons for the At Home issues.

Lifestyle and details

Show tables, doors, hardware, light on a stair. Keep it tactile and specific, and stage it simply.

Each one is found in the source pages and reused across web, print and signage.

Page 8: closing page with inset gold frame

1 · The inset frame

A hairline gold border set inside the edge (pages 1 and 8). Use one per view: covers, heroes and closing panels.

Page 3: running head, two-line headline and folio

2 · Page furniture

A spaced-caps running head at the top, and a folio bar at the bottom with the team name, issue and page number. On the web these become section labels and the footer.

Page 4: two-line headline and navy statistics panel

3 · Headlines that answer

"Know the market. / Love the home." Set large, light and left-aligned, with generous space above.

Page 7: navy page with house linework and two columns

4 · Navy for structure

Whole navy grounds hold statistics, services and promises. On ivory pages, a navy panel is the strongest accent available.

Page 5: image left with numbered list right

5 · Image and column

A tall image beside a disciplined text column. Grid: image across columns 1–6, text across columns 8–12, with the gutter left as air.

Whitespace

Margins run from 16 to 80px, and sections from 64 to 136px. Put more space above a heading than below it. When in doubt, remove an element instead of shrinking the space.

The dimension line with end ticks is the architectural signature. Use it sparingly, for ranges and measurements.
